Firefly Gathering’s first ever Mini-Fly!
This two-part event has something for everyone.
Bring your whole family on the early side for Earthskill Demos from 4pm – 7pm. Get inspired by our talented teachers as they demo their skills of expertise, including flint knapping with Luke McLaughlin, bone crafting with Josh Barnwell, basket weaving and cordage with Jessica Kaufman, and copper smithing with Grant Adkisson.
Then, dance along to local live music with a craft beverage from our friends at One World Brewing West, enjoy a Traditional Cherokee Indian Dinner (available for purchase between 5 and 8:30 at the event; sliding scale $20-40. Paypal, venmo, cash or card accepted), and bust out those dancing shoes and join us for our DJ Dance Party with DJ Lakesolace and DJ Meticulus from 8pm – 12am!
Can’t choose which part to attend? You don’t have to! Come to it all and celebrate with your community all day, in all the ways.

Lily is an artist, creator, and dreamer. Since a very young age, she has been immersed in the natural world and draws heavy inspiration from the wild. Though her medium changes frequently, Lily’s art and expression always incorporate an element of the organic and unpredictable. She got her associate in fine arts in 2023, and now volunteers at her school as a ceramic studio monitor. She hopes to open a studio of her own one day to have a place to teach and inspire others. In addition to doing commission work, Lily has been creating many graphics for The Firefly Gathering since 2019. Lily grew up in the Earthskills community from the time she was eight years old, so having the opportunity to grow and give back in so many ways has been incredibly fulfilling. No matter where she ends up, this group of people and ideas will always hold a special place in her heart.
