Neo Pre/Post Apocalyptic Blacksmithing II
Join Tod Kershaw, engineer turned off-grid dumpster diver extraordinaire, as he walks us through the ins and outs of DIY Blacksmithing, foraging for metal in the scrap heaps and so much more! This multi-part series will empower students to find metal, tools and fuel and teach you what to do with it. All of the materials in the class will be 100% found, foraged, reclaimed & reused…even the coal!
Our Blacksmithing series is unique in that each class will build on the previous class, and yet each class stands alone! This means that folks at all experience levels can sign up for any and/or all of the workshops and still learn something. Each class will build on information shared in previous workshops, but will also be offered in a way that individuals can step into any class without previous knowledge or experience and still feel competent. So sign up for one, or all three! Class size is limited to 6, so don’t wait!

Workshop Series Details
The classes in this series can be taken individually or as a series. If you would like an immersive experience that gives you a strong foundation in blacksmithing, we encourage you to take all 3 classes. But if you can only take the second or third class and are new to blacksmithing, Tod is teaching each class in a way that everyone will gain the foundational skills and competency, even if you haven’t attended a previous course in the series.
Classes will be held on three Saturdays October 23 – November 6, 2021, from 11-4pm at an outdoor location in Barnardsville, NC. There will be a half hour break for lunch.
Each class is limited to 6 participants and will fill quickly. Register early.
