Equipment Checklist
What to Bring to the Gathering
None of these are required, but they may help to make your experience more enjoyable and comfortable.
Highly Recommended
- Water-proof shelter or tent (while camping is free, there will be bunks available in bunkhouses for $5/night if you prefer to sleep indoors)
- Sleeping bag or blankets
- Flashlight
- A good, sharp knife (if you don't have one and you want one there will be some available to purchase in camp)
- A jacket or sweater
- Rain gear
- Food for yourself and/or to share
- Plates, bowls, silverware, pans, pots, etc...
- Water bottle
- A few of the classes require small fees for materials that the instructors have purchased or spent a lot of time gathering. You may want to bring some pocket money in case you wish to take any of these classes.
Optional
- Lawn or folding chairs
- Propane stove (if you prefer cooking on your own to the communal kitchen)
- Bathing suit
- Instruments
- Insulated sleeping pad
- Extra shoes
- Earplugs (for light sleepers)
*Note: A communal kitchen area with stoves and running water will be available for general use.
